"Death.March.Melodies sind acht Brecher in einer knappen Stunde, die sich trotz ihres Gewichtes mit erstaunlicher Eleganz und Tempo durch die Lauschkanäle drücken. Heavy Rock mit Einflüssen aus Metal, Stoner- und 70s Rock, gewürzt mit markanten psychedelischen Einlagen und einer Stimme, deren Kraft und Vielseitigkeit enorm ist.

Neben Songs über Kämpfe in und um Beziehungen, Drogen, Liebe und Tod gibt es aber auch Lieder in denen SAMAVAYO ihre Existenz auf den Punkt bringt, nämlich um zu rocken und eine ordentliche Portion Energie und gute Laune zu verbreiten.

Samavayo have been a trio since 2013. “Dakota” is their debut album in this formation. All three band members grew up in East‐Berlin, in the neighbourhoods Lichtenberg and Friedrichshain.
